travel is personal
I’m all about stepping out of my comfort zone while traveling, but it’s totally ok to have some expectations about what types of travel you’re into. That’s how I Did It My Way came about. If you like art but don’t love it, don’t feel compelled to visit every museum on a city’s must see list. If you prefer getting lost to a guided tour (I enjoy both) factor that in. If you love travelling with your partner or besties, but truly soak in new experiences when flying solo…do it! No one knows you (or your travel companions) better than you. I believe knowing yourself is a great start to planning for the types of trips that make room for soul enriching experiences. I’m here to give you ideas, tips and support to inspire you to design your trips your way.
ABOUTĀ
Can you really afford to travel so much on a education salary?
Yes. Yes I can. And I can travel well. You don’t need to be wealthy to indulge in travel–you just need to be strategic in your planning. I travel multiple times during the year, and I don’t skimp on the good stuff. I eat well, stay in cozy spots, and indulge in a variety of experiences that make every trip feel special.
