I’m all about stepping out of my comfort zone while traveling, but it’s totally ok to have some expectations about what types of travel you’re into. That’s how I Did It My Way came about. If you like art but don’t love it, don’t feel compelled to visit every museum on a city’s must see list. If you prefer getting lost to a guided tour (I enjoy both) factor that in. If you love travelling with your partner or besties, but truly soak in new experiences when flying solo…do it! No one knows you (or your travel companions) better than you. I believe knowing yourself is a great start to planning for the types of trips that make room for soul enriching experiences.
